I've been given the opportunity to review Copy Kids DVD eat fruits and vegetables. We offer our children fruits and vegetables at most meals and they always gobble up the fruit, the vegetables, not so much. Copy Kids is media company that produces videos that encourages positive habits in young children, by watching and copying other kids. Its as simple as that! The kids in the DVD are kids similar in age to #1 and #2 and they were hooked right from the start.
On the DVD there are 12 various segments, about 6 minutes each in length. Each segment focuses on a different fruit or vegetable: bell peppers, carrots, raspberries, broccoli, bananas, strawberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, oranges, avocados apples, and blueberries. We first watched the "carrot" segment.
#2 hasn't really ever eaten a carrot by itself. Usually I have to put a bunch of peanut butter on it for her to lick off and she SOMETIMES takes a bite. After 1 minute of watching the DVD she willingly picked up the carrot and started chompin' away!
I highly recommend Copy Kids. If you'd like to watch a trailer of this video you can go here to watch the trailer. What's another great aspect of the DVD is that there is even a section for parents where Dr. Jay Gordon, MN, FAAP, author of Good Food Today, Great Kids Tomorrow, talks about childhood obesity and gives suggestions to parents to help their child eat healthier!
Wait...there's more! Would YOU like a chance to WIN your own copy of COPY KIDS. It's really simple.
