Do you ever bake a pie and crust turns out really dark and burnt, but the rest of the pie is fine? It's happened to me a couple of times and I've found a new handy trick to keep the pie crusts from burning!
What you have to do is tear a 12in piece of tin foil. Cut a 7in circle out of the middle and place it over your pie. Bake your pie as normal. Then when you take it out of the oven, it all looks evenly cooked!
