Welcome! Here's a little about me to get help you understand the blog a bit better.
I grew up in a small down in North Dakota. I married my high school sweetheart in the middle of our sophomore year of college (when we were both attending different universities). I went to three universities in four years and graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education, specializing in pre-primary education (I love the little guys!). Pastor went to two universities in four years and graduated with a double minor in biblical languages (yes he knows Greek, Hebrew, and some Latin) and Lutheran Confessions.
After college we moved to St. Louis, Missouri Pastor attended seminary for four years. We were there for two years, then had our "internship" aka vicarage in Schaumburg, IL. While in Schaumbury we had our first child, #1. After our year of internship we returned to St. Louis for one final year of seminary. While we were in St. Louis (for the three, non consecutive years) I worked for Ritenour Public schools, teaching third grade. I loved it!
In April of 2010 we received a "call" to our new church in Idaho, where we currently are. We moved here in June of 2010, and then in August of 2010 #2 arrived!
We're a busy family. We enjoy the outdoors, especially snow shoeing, skiing, hiking, camping, swimming, and more!
I am a cloth diapering mom, to better the world and to save money all at once.
I enjoy doing crafts with my children, baking with them, and sharing the love of Jesus. I'm a homeschooling preschool mom and thoroughly enjoy spending all my day with both my kiddos.
In my free time I am reading books, making videos, making scrapbooks online, cooking, or just hanging out with the Pastor!
